SEATTLE – Flinn Ferguson, the largest provider of tenant-only commercial real estate services in the Seattle market, has joined Cresa, the largest occupier-focused CRE platform in the world. The addition of Flinn Ferguson has expanded Cresa’s footprint on the west coast, where the company has existing offices in Portland, Sacramento, San Francisco, Los Angeles and San Diego.

Flinn Ferguson was founded in 1995 with the sole purpose of exclusively representing tenants. Over the past 22 years, their downtown Seattle office has grown to 18 people – a team that transacted over 2,000,000 square feet of space in 2016. The firm covers the entire Puget Sound area, and has completed transactions for clients throughout the Pacific Northwest and nationally. In addition to transaction management, Flinn Ferguson provides project management and consulting services. By joining Cresa, they will expand their service offering, enabling them to provide clients a more holistic experience – from strategy through to implementation.

“Flinn Ferguson is an outstanding team of the highest quality professionals. We are thrilled to have them join Cresa and expand our reach on the west coast and in this important market,” said Cresa CEO Jim Underhill.

According to Underhill, Flinn Ferguson joining Cresa is part of a larger growth initiative, which is expected to include more additions that are enabled by Cresa’s recent capitalization. “We now have the infrastructure and investment capacity in place to expand significantly through recruitment and acquisitions,” Underhill added. “Clients value our tenant-only focus, which is fuelling our expansion. Adding like-minded professionals like those at Flinn Ferguson will help lead this growth initiative.”

Cresa has worked with Flinn Ferguson on transactions in the Seattle market for more than 5 years, and the two firms have a lot of commonalities in service delivery and culture that will make the transition seamless.

“We look forward to complimenting Flinn Ferguson’s two decades of Seattle-area tenant-only market experience with Cresa’s additional resources and global reach,” said Flinn Ferguson Principal Dan Flinn.

Flinn Ferguson will remain in their 601 Union Street office and will continue to be led by Parker Ferguson, Dan Flinn, Dan Foster, Matt Hermsen, Brian Hayden, Bob Mooney and Hans Kemp.
