Seattle, Washington – Cairncross & Hempelmann is excited to announce that Aurelia Tunru has joined its Corporate Finance & Business Transactions team.
As a strong addition to the Corporate Finance & Business Transactions group, Aurelia focuses her practice on advising private and public companies on legal matters relating to M&A transactions, commercial contracts, and corporate governance matters. Prior to landing in Seattle, Aurelia practiced as a corporate associate at Jones Day in Cleveland, Ohio from 2013 – 2016.
Aurelia has advised global companies such as Proctor & Gamble, Timken, and Polypore International, Inc. She has experience with stock and asset purchases with a transaction value of up to $12.5 billion, and has worked with clients in a wide variety of industries, including consumer goods, specialty chemicals, and manufacturing. Business group leader, Tim Woodland, notes, “Aurelia’s experience in complex M&A transactions brings a comprehensive level to CH&’s corporate group, and we are excited to have her on board.”
Her cross-border experience, coupled with fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and American Sign Languages, further allows Aurelia to counsel a wide assortment of both foreign and domestic clients in their complex business transactions with a hard focus on tax-efficiency and securities compliance. Aurelia’s skillset serves as a great addition to CH&’s thriving business practice, and is a welcome additional resource to the firm and its sophisticated clientele.
