Nearly 100-year-old German cabinet company arrives in the Pacific Northwest
Cabinet manufacturing giant, Bauformat, makes its way to the PNW market with the opening of its new Seattle showroom. Bauformat is renowned for cutting edge cabinet technology, precision engineering and some of the best lead times from a European manufacturer (Standard lead time 8-10 weeks, Expedited lead time 5 weeks). Started in the early 1920’s by four brothers in Löhne, Germany, a town roughly 2-hours south of Bremen and often referred to as the “Kitchen Capital of the World,” the company announces the opening of the brand’s newest showroom in Belltown.
J.D. Nesbitt, one of Seattle’s leading interior designers, who heads up the Bauformat Seattle design team, said, “Bauformat is offering something unique; some of the best technology in the market such as, integrated lighting systems, Servo-driven doors and drawers and an integrated handleless cabinetry option. With a substantial number of finishes, not only are these tailor-made cabinets for bespoke kitchens, but with 8 different price groups, more homeowners can enjoy contemporary, European quality in a way that they likely couldn’t previously.” He then went on to say, “With our line of ready-made floating bath cabinetry, which includes integrated smooth top sinks and counters, there is virtually no home remodeler in the region that is looking for a clean, modern, quality product that isn’t going to be able to walk away happy.”
Not only does the Seattle showroom handle residential and multifamily kitchens and baths but they’re also weighing in on the custom closet market. The BauCloset lines offer clever storage and display solutions for everything from reach-in to walk-in closet spaces. Again, technology comes in to play with integrated lighting technology.
