ARA is pleased to announce that Mike Ibarra has joined the firm as Senior Vice-President, Investor Relations. In this role, Mr. Ibarra will be working with the firm’s professional team in expanding the firm’s sales and client service efforts for ARA’s Taft-Hartley relationships on the West Coast.
Mr. Ibarra brings to ARA over 35 years of experience working in the real estate and investment industries. Prior to joining ARA, he was responsible for the development and execution of new impact investment products at Amalgamated Bank. Prior to that, he was a Senior Vice-President at Landon Butler & Co., LP, responsible for marketing, investor relations, and client service for their West Coast investment clients in the Multi Employer Property Trust (MEPT). He previously held senior positions at CB Richard Ellis/Trammell Crow (CBRE), Trammell Crow Company. Mr. Ibarra began his real estate career in 1984 with LaSalle Partners, where he served as the SVP and CFO for LaSalle Partners Asset Management LP – California and the COO for LaSalle Partners Asset Management LP – Colorado. He currently serves on the Governing Board and Steering Council for Heartland Capital Strategies, is a member of the Board of CityCraft Foundation, and a member of the Steering Committee for the Impact Finance Center. Mr. Ibarra is also a licensed real estate broker in California.
