Seattle, WA – December 5, 2016 — American Classic Homes (www.americanclassichomes.com) (ACH), an award-winning Pacific Northwest-based homebuilder, today announced it has expanded its real estate capabilities with the introduction of a new multifamily division: SeaLevel Properties (www.sealevelproperties.com).

With a focus on building and acquiring multifamily and mixed-use developments in Seattle and the Puget Sound Region, the new division will be led by former ACH executives and experienced multifamily experts John Shaw and Kyle Weeks. Weeks previously worked at Vulcan Real Estate and Shaw at Mack Urban. Under their leadership, SeaLevel already has more than 800 new multifamily homes underway.

“For more than 17 years, ACH has successfully built elegant, distinctive and uniquely Pacific Northwest single-family home communities,” said ACH Co-Founder and Partner, Michael Gladstein. “As the region continues to grow and change, we’re excited to introduce SeaLevel and further our commitments to quality, community and smart investments.”

SeaLevel Properties Directors Weeks and Shaw have extensive expertise in multi-family development, including deep hands-on management and commercial development oversight experience for Weeks, and a rich background in property acquisitions and ground-up development for Shaw.

“As a locally-owned Washington company, our goal is to establish SeaLevel as one of the top local developers in the region – one that takes great pride in a reputation for superior quality and attention to detail,” said Shaw. “Because we’re local, we know what it takes to create communities and buildings that fit naturally into the character of our region’s great cities and neighborhoods.”

“With so many great projects already underway, we’re excited to further capitalize on new opportunities and build relationships that will help advance SeaLevel and our vision in this region,” said Weeks.

Currently, SeaLevel has four key projects underway across the region, including:

  • Everett Waterfront Place Redevelopment. SeaLevel recently announced it will build 250-275 units on 5.44-acre in the first phase of Everett’s Waterfront Place Redevelopment. The Apartments at Fisherman’s Harbor will deliver a collection of experiences that leverage the character and stories of the area. The community will feature two distinct yet connected buildings reflected by three unique waterfront experiences: a marine/water-inspired experience, an industrial-inspired experience, and a timber-inspired experience.
  • Sammamish Town Center. Which began construction in January 2016, SeaLevel’s SAMM Apartments in Sammamish’s Town Center will include 92 units and more than 15,000 square feet of ground-level retail.
  • Seattle’s Capitol Hill Neighborhood. Featuring 50 units located in the heart of the Pike/Pine Corridor in Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood, SeaLevel is preparing to break ground on this project in early 2018.
  • Downtown Issaquah. Located in charming downtown Issaquah, Vale Apartments, a five-story, 110 unit apartment building, will break ground in March of 2017.
