Harsch Investment Properties welcomes Steven Gustafson, CPA, to the corporate office in Portland as Vice President of Taxation. Steve is responsible for corporate and real estate taxes, tax strategy, tax planning, and tax accounting. Before coming to Harsch, he managed real estate investment taxes for government pension funds as Tax Director at Forum Partners Investment Management in Greenwich, Connecticut, he was a guest lecturer in the Graduate Program at New York University’s Schack Institute of Real Estate, and he graded the Uniform Certified Public Accountant examination for the American Institute of CPAs.
Steve is a Certified Public Accountant licensed by Washington, New York and Connecticut, and a member of the Washington Bar. He holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree in Taxation from New York University School of Law, a J.D. degree from the University of Washington School of Law, as well as MBA and BA degrees in Business Administration from the University of Washington Foster School of Business.
