RIVERSIDE, Calif. – Skanska, one of the world’s leading construction and development firms, announced John Dudasch was hired as Vice President for its civil business unit in the West. Dudasch will be focused on supporting projects and pursuits in Skanska’s western region.
“John will play a key role in continuing to establish us as a design-build leader and construction partner of choice throughout the West,” said Skanska Executive Vice President Brian Stieritz. “His depth of experience in all facets of pursuing, estimating and managing large heavy civil and transportation design-build and other alternative-delivery projects will be a tremendous asset to the region and our customers.”
Dudasch has more than 20 years of experience in the construction industry, joining Skanska after serving as large project executive at Granite Construction. Prior to that, he served as vice president and North American operations director at CH2M Hill Constructors.
Dudasch has significant experience in project and operations management, including management of heavy civil design-build projects, transportation, environmental remediation and facilities work. He has managed and provided hands on support for all facets of design-build projects including safety, quality assurance/quality control, constructability, schedule and cost management.
Dudasch lives in the Denver area and serves on the board of directors for the Morgan Adams Foundation, a non-profit based in Denver that raises money for pediatric cancer research. He received his bachelors in Civil Engineering from Colorado State University.
