26-Year Veteran of Retail Real Estate Scott Blankenship Joins Along with KT Taylor
Seattle – March 29, 2017 – CBRE Group, Inc., announced today that Scott Blankenship, is joining the company as Senior Vice President, along with Kathleen “KT” Taylor, Senior Associate, in the Downtown Seattle office to complement its Seattle-area retail leasing business.
Mr. Blankenship and Ms. Taylor work with both retailers and property investors, representing numerous national and global clients in the Seattle area and handling leasing at numerous major shopping centers from development to completion.
Mr. Blankenship has over 26 years of commercial real estate experience, specializing in tenant and landlord representation with an emphasis on retail/office leasing and investment sales. Previously, he served as President of the Brokerage Division of Wallace Properties, Inc., and was the founder and CEO of Cascade Commercial Properties, LLC which merged with Wallace Properties in 2011. Mr. Blankenship has been involved in over 400 transactions – including both investment sales and leasing.

Mr. Blankenship and Ms. Taylor will add depth to the current retail leasing platform, professionals and offering in the Seattle area under the leadership of John Miller, CBRE’s Senior Managing Director for the Puget Sound Region.

In 2016, Mr. Blankenship served as the chairman of the Commercial Brokers Association (CBA) along with additional active tenures on both the CBA’s Board of Directors and as an Executive Committee Member. He is also an active member of both the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), Washington State Commercial Association of REALTORS (WSCAR) and National Association for Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP).
Ms. Taylor specializes in retail leasing and has experience in both landlord and tenant representation. She joins CBRE after serving as an Associate Broker with Wallace Properties, Inc. since 2012 bringing with her over 20 years of experience in real estate and finance.
Ms. Taylor is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, and is a past board member of the Rainier Chamber of Commerce, the Rainier Chamber Foundation, and Sound Velo Cycling Club.
